Now I know that my daughter is everything I would have wished for.

Caring, sensitive, bright, funny, and an amazing mother. She is possibly the least judgmental person I know, probably because she has been judged harshly herself. And she is probably the most compassionate person I know, probably because she has experienced the stigma and shame that goes along with alcoholism. She is a wonderful young woman with a really crappy disease.
